The Lake TX224 is the ultimate triathlon shoe for athletes who demand quick transitions, comfort, technological innovation, and a precise fit. Designed to provide effortless on/off functionality without compromising adjustability or comfort, it’s ideal for every stage of the race.

Its revolutionary design allows for fast entry and exit, while the speed drawstring lacing system and Velcro strap ensure a quick, secure, and personalized foot lockdown. The breathable mesh upper wraps snugly around the foot, ensuring optimal airflow and keeping your feet cool throughout the race.

Sole

Equipped with a 100% carbon fiber sole (or a carbon composite sole for the Comfort Plus version), the TX224 delivers superior stiffness, stability, and maximum power transfer. The removable anti-slip heel pad adds durability, while the reinforced rubber toe bumper protects the shoe in demanding conditions.

The upper is made of Clarino microfiber and NuFoam™ with Trek-Dry lining, offering:

• A rear elastic band for quick transition setup

The triple-layer NuFoam™ structure includes:

1. Trek-Dry inner lining – antimicrobial bamboo-carbon fabric

Last (Shape Options)

The TX224 is the first triathlon shoe to be offered in three different last shapes, ensuring a perfect fit for every foot type:

• CX/TX Race Last (Narrow): Tighter toe box and heel for high-cadence riding and a precise fit
• CX/TX Competition Last (Regular): Designed for high-pressure pedaling; features a more curved profile, increased toe pitch, heel lift, and room for forefoot expansion
• CX/TX Comfort Plus Last (Wide): The most spacious option, ideal for wide feet or barefoot-style riders, allowing full toe splay and enhanced comfort

Closure
